Oh my! I've started this blog only last week and I've already slacked after 3 days, not sharing anything on Thursday and Friday. Not good!! Especially when I was wearing a killer blue/green wrap dress from BCBG Max Azria!! Not to worry though; I will be wearing the same dress again I'm sure, so I'll share it another time. Moving onto today swiftly; I'm sad (!, continue reading please) to say I'm working on a Saturday again.
Being in sales my client relationships are really important and we bond with clients not just at office hours but at different events and organisations. My company has a corporate box at the O2 and we do client events from time to time. So today is one of those days where I'm taking some clients to the X-Factor show. Tough life this is, I'm definitely not a sucker for trash TV(!) and X-Factor is definintely not (!) my guilty pleasure in life and I haven't volunteered to this event at all! Well, as I cheer for my favourites on the show tonight; that is Amelia Lily and Misha B., I shall remember how lucky I am to get to do such things as a courtesy of my job. I love my job.
But another dilemma hovers in my head, what am I going to wear?? It's a concert on a Saturday, so if I was going on my own I would be wearing just t-shirt, jeans and trainers! You can't do this when there are clients are present and you're in Box. So, I decide to stick to the relaxed concept but update the look with high heels and a jacket to make it more smart casual.
What I have on here is a Zadig & Voltaire (from the kids section!!) long sleeve white cotton top, Rag & Bone skinnies finished with a Zara jacket, that looks like suede but it's not :), and the most amazing boots I've ever owned by the creative Rupert Sanderson.
Let me know what you think.
Oh, and from now on you can also follow me on Twitter @workozholic.
Until the next post,
Work-Oz-Holic xx
